The Post-Graduate Degree in Maternal Health and Obstetrics Nursing at ESESJC is based on an educational project with a humanist conception, where respect and dignity for all stakeholders prevails.
In designing its study plan, the OE guidelines for the EESMO Training Program (Approved at the General Assembly on May 12, 2018), Regulation no. Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing, as well as the Regulation of Common Skills of the Specialist Nurse (Regulation No. 140/2019, of February 6).
In this course, areactive teaching methods and techniques used (example: low- and high-fidelity simulation, case studies, plenary sessions, group work and discussions, guidance and supervision of care practices in a real context, among others) that encourage critical thinking and decision-making of clinical decision making in nursing, always based on the best scientific evidence available, where an attempt will be made to respond to the challenges of women's global health.

Professional Status
The Post-Graduate Specialization Course in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing aims to develop highly differentiated scientific, technical, ethical-deontological and human competences by the nurses who attend it, in order to who may be awarded, by the Order of Nurses, the title of specialist in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing.

- Graduates in Nursing and Post-Graduates, with a curriculum and/or interest in the area of Maternal and Obstetric Health, with two years of professional practice at the time of application.
