Presentation

The provision of emergent care, whether in an out-of-hospital environment or in intensive care units, requires that health professionals, doctors and nurses have a set of skills that allow them, as a team, to intervene immediately, at the right time and place, ensuring quality and comprehensive service.

It is imperative that these professionals, when approaching the critically ill, demonstrate solid theoretical and practical knowledge, scientific, psychomotor and ethical-relational competence to provide care to the patient and family.

In this sense, and considering the frequency of catastrophes in RAM and accidents with multiple casualties, ESESJCluny organized postgraduate training in "Extra-Hospital Emergency and Intensive Care" in order to allow nurses and doctors to acquire specific skills in the area providing care to patients in emergency situations, trauma and multiorgan dysfunction in an out-of-hospital and in-hospital context.

Differentiated training in this area will contribute to obtaining gains in health, namely a decrease in the mortality rate and a decrease in the morbidity rate, while increasing the safety of professionals and their satisfaction.

This Post-Graduation gives access to the attribution of Specialized Increased Competence in Extra-Hospital Emergency.
